The Beach!!

I love the beach...if I could be employed to lay on the beach & be a beach bum...oh boy!! Would I retire happy!! :) Instead, I will settle for living about 5 mins. from the beach & having the luxury of indulging in it's fine, sandy space any time I please!

I have also been blessed with my alone time spent there this early beach season. I decided to take a journal, that a special person bought for me, that was actually being written for him, & dedicate it to the "drama" in my life. Let's face it, we all have drama of some sort. Some people experience more intense drama than others but it's a fact of life. Any who, when I first went to the beach, by myself, I felt like a nerd. Here I am, at the beach, all by my lonesome & all around me are couples walking, holding hands, kids hanging out, in groups, parents with their little ones, capturing precious moments. I was inspired that day!! And aside from the intensely dramatic day I had, I was at peace, enjoying what God has given us. I laid there & wrote about 6 or 7 pages in my journal. I even thought I might be a great writer some day. No soap operas, don't worry! :)

I've decided to share some sights...enjoy friends.

I almost felt like I was in another country...such a beautiful view to be plain 'ol St. Joe Michigan.

The fog in the distance adds mystery...I think...ok, so I am a nerd!
