One windy day!!

I went down to the beach before sundown on Sabbath to enjoy a nice sunset & write some more in my journal. I knew it had been pretty windy all day but that wasn't going to stop me! As soon as I set my stuff down on the sand, the wind picked up & started whipping sand everywhere! It was such a beautfil day, warm & sunny but that stinkin wind!! Before I picked my stuff up to leave I just had to snap one pic.

As I was walking back up the beach I noticed what the wind had created out of the sand hills.

I thought they kinda looked like ancient ruins. Pretty cool huh? I was impressed.

Well, as I said, it was too windy so I left the beach but I wanted to sit still & enjoy what could be seen of the sunset so I drove down the road to one of the parking areas overlooking the water. As I was sitting, writing in my journal, I looked to my left & couldn't believe what I seeing right before my very eyes! A masked theif, running toward the garbage can...up he went & pulled out a peice of quickly yet carefully selected trash, sniffed it, then let it blow away & dropped back down to retrieve another yummy treasure.

He dangled himself with his feet hanging on to the outter edges of the trash can. Pretty incredible! Amused, I go back to writing in my journal...I look up a few minutes later & spot another bandet.

As you can see, this guy was right outside my car!! I couldn't believe they were doing this right in front of me!! It was pretty hilarious & entertaining. They must have been pretty friendly but I wasn't about to test my observation.

As I drove away I spotted two more fighting over some Wendy's garbage...yes, I meant actual trash for you Wendy's lovers...I love their fries. :) Anyway, the pic I took of them fighting did not turn out unfortunately but it was intense!! I guess you never really know what to expect to see when you trying to enjoy a sunset!

Elizabeth - an empty beach is like a small child with puppy-dog eyes and outstretched hands. It begs to be filled with romance and games.
How do we know you weren't the get-away driver for the bandit? :)

I apologies - "Walter" is actually me. I was ignorant to the fact that I was signed in as him... please pardon the error. :) So I can get credit for that post...
